Hi, I posted this to set myself some targets to achieve in 2010 and at the same time to look back at the things I have done in 2009. This was inspired by a thread in cgtalk. http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=2&t=837064

Great Things that happened in 2009:

1) My Knee ACL rehab is going very well, in fact I feel 90% recovered with running and jumping not an issue anymore.
2) Manage to pick up Houdini on my own, although not a smooth ride, but at least I get through the foundation stage.
3) Completed my Basic Military Training in Nov 09
4) Manage to pick up python scripting on my own
5) Compiling a reel to go for a job hunt

Plans for 2010:

1) Get a job! Get a job!
2) Get myself involve in fine arts. Drawing and Painting.
3) Watch MIT online courses for mathematics and computer science.
4) Pick up shader programming for either Mental Ray or Renderman.
5) Exercise and work out my knee. Running, swimming and gym work.
6) Siggraph LA 2010 in July.
7) Siggraph Asia 2010 in Korea in December.

Hi all,
I am trying out to see if I can post my blog posts through gmail.
This will be a convenient way for me to update my blog.
I know that I have not update it for a long time, but that does not mean that behind the scenes I am not doing anything. =)

I will post pictures of an ocean simulation in Houdini that I am working on soon. Hopefully, there will be more to come!
